NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Sherman Board of Supervisors will hear comments on the following proposed amendments to the Town of Sherman Zoning Ordinance on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 6:30pm:

SECTION 3.04 B. 1. – PERMITTED USES, Agricultural uses conducted for the purpose of producing an income or livelihood
Remove “Portable storage units” and “Solar energy systems, small scale”

SECTION 3.04 B. 2. – PERMITTED USES, Farm accessory uses
Add “Portable storage units” and “Solar energy systems, small scale”

SECTION 7.07 A. – BOARD OF APPEALS, Hearings
The Board of Appeals shall fix a reasonable time and place for the hearing and provide publish a Class 1 notice at least seven days prior to the meeting.

SECTION 9.05 – CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS, Hearings
The Town Board shall, after providing publishing a Class 2 notice under Ch. 985, Wis. Stats., hold a public hearing upon each recommendation, listing the time, place, and the changes or amendments proposed. The Town Board shall also give at least 10 days prior written notice to the Clerk of any municipality having extraterritorial jurisdiction within 1.5 miles of any land to be affected by the proposed change or amendment.
