Pursuant to 2015 Senate Bill 137, signed into law on November 11, 2015, a municipality that opts to post a legal notice in lieu of publication may, instead of posting the notice in three public places, post the notice in one public place and publish the notice on the municipality’s website. Prior to this, the Town of Sherman posted in three public places: The Town Hall, National Exchange Bank and Trust, and MSM Mobil. The Town Board of Supervisors of the Town of Sherman recognized this newly enacted law at its December 1, 2015 board meeting by passing Resolution #2015-13 “Resolution to Revise Local Legal Posting Locations”.  The new posting locations will be at the town hall, located at W6566 STH 144 (Silver Creek Fire Department) and on the town’s website.  To view the complete resolution, please see “Ordinances” page under Government.
