NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Town of Sherman Board of Supervisors
Sheboygan County, Wisconsin

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing to discuss adoption of a proposed amendment (10-year
update) to the Town of Sherman Comprehensive Plan and the adoption of an ordinance to update the
comprehensive plan shall be held at the Silver Creek Fire Department/Town of Sherman Office
located at W6566 State Highway 144, Random Lake, WI 53075 on February 3, 2026, at 6:30p.m.

The proposed update to the comprehensive plan, in summary, would update the plan as required
under Wis. Stats 66.1001. The plan would be updated to reflect current information, to include
changes to written text, statistics, projections, graphics, and maps.

Janelle Kaiser, an employee of the Town of Sherman, may be contacted to provide additional
information on the proposed update to the comprehensive plan and ordinance at 920-994-9421,
[email protected], or PO Box 88, Adell, WI 53001. Janelle Kaiser may be contacted on
the following dates and during the following times: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from
2:00pm to 4:00pm.

A copy of the proposed update to the comprehensive plan may be inspected prior to the hearing at
W6566 State Highway 144, Random Lake, WI 53075 on the following dates and during the following
times: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

A copy of the proposed update to the comprehensive plan may be obtained prior to the hearing by

During the public hearing, the public is invited to speak on the proposed plan update. Written
comments may be submitted to the Town Clerk/Treasurer at [email protected] or PO Box
88, Adell, WI 53001 until February 2, 2026 at 6:30p.m. and shall become part of the record.

After the close of the public hearing, meetings of the Town of Sherman Plan Commission and Board of
Supervisors shall be called to order and the update shall be addressed per the agendas. Notice is
hereby given that a quorum of the Town of Sherman Plan Commission may be present at this hearing
to gather information about a topic over which they have decision-making authority.
