Budget Hearing and Special Elector Meeting Notice + November 2026 Town Board Meeting Date Change!

The regular November 2026 Town Board meeting will be held on Monday, November 9, 2026. The Town Board regularly meets on the first Tuesday of each month, however, will instead meet on the second Monday of the month in November 2026. There will NOT be a Town Board meeting on November 3, 2026, due to Election Day. 

Please be advised that the November 2026 Town Board meeting will begin immediately following completion of Public Budget Hearing and Special Town Electors Meeting. The Public Budget Hearing is scheduled to begin at 6:00pm. 

NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING
FOR TOWN OF SHERMAN, SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI
Notice is hereby given that on Monday, November 9, 2026, at 6:00 pm at the Silver Creek Fire Department/Sherman Town Office at W6566 State Highway 144, Random Lake, Wisconsin, 53075, a PUBLIC HEARING on the PROPOSED 2027 BUDGET for the Town of Sherman, Sheboygan County, WI will be held.  Immediately following the Public Hearing, a Special Town Meeting of the Town Electors will be held to approve the town tax levy for 2026 taxes payable 2027.  The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at the town clerk's office from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Monday through Wednesday, and is on the town's website at www.shermanshebcowi.gov.  The following is a summary of the proposed 2027 budget compared to the 2026 budget.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
OF THE ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF SHERMAN, SHEBOYGAN COUNTY
Notice is hereby given that a special town meeting of the electors of the Town of Sherman, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, will be held at the Silver Creek Fire Department/Town of Sherman Town Hall located at W6566 STH 144, Random Lake, Wisconsin, 53075, on the 9th day of November, 2026, immediately following the completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2027 town budget which begins at 6:00 p.m. for the following purposes:
	1.  To establish the compensation for elected town officers pursuant to s. 60.10(1)(b)1., Wis. Stats.
	2.  To approve the 2026 total town tax levy to be collected in 2027 pursuant to s. 60.10(1)(a), Wis. Stats.
	3.  Resolution 2026-06 Adoption of the Town Tax Levy at Special Town Meeting of the Electors.
